About the Role
Ph Water & Air Technologies is seeking a Lead HVAC Commissioning Engineer to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for commissioning HVAC systems across a range of commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Your role will be vital in ensuring HVAC systems are installed, tested, and fully operational in accordance with client specifications, health and safety regulations, and industry standards. Key duties include commissioning, testing, and balancing HVAC systems, performing initial checks, troubleshooting, and system adjustments for optimal efficiency. You will coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors during installation and commissioning, providing technical support and guidance to clients and team members. Additionally, you will conduct air and water balancing by adjusting dampers, valves, and air handling units, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and health and safety legislation. You will also prepare comprehensive commissioning documentation, including test results and system configurations, and identify opportunities to enhance system performance or reduce energy consumption. Experience
Proven experience as an HVAC Commissioning Engineer with strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems including chilled water, heating, ventilation, ASHP/CHP systems. Familiarity with HVAC commissioning tools and BMS systems such as Trend is essential.

Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently or collaboratively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Health and safety aware with a full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to various sites. Capability to mentor junior engineers and support training as needed.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications such as CSA, NVQ Level 3 in HVAC, City & Guilds or equivalent. Solid understanding of industry standards and regulations including BSRIA, CIBSE, and HVCA commissioning practices.
