About the Role

As a Lead Mechanical Engineer within the Integrated Solutions business unit, you will play a pivotal role in engineering and project delivery for hydrocarbons and energy transition industries. This role involves leading a group of engineers on complex projects, managing budgets, planning, and ensuring successful delivery of mechanical scopes of work. You will interface extensively with clients, project management, suppliers, corporate management, and KBR’s global mechanical engineering teams. KBR is at the forefront of designing and constructing projects that support the energy transition and traditional energy markets, working with some of the largest and most complex energy projects worldwide. Experience
- Proven success leading mechanical engineering teams on energy transition and petrochemical projects, including concept development, front-end engineering design, and detailed design.
- Strong knowledge of major mechanical equipment types including static, machinery, and packaged equipment.
- Familiarity with industry standards for energy transition or oil and gas equipment.
- Experience working in consultant engineering companies or end-user organizations is preferred.

- Chartered Mechanical Engineer with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for innovative engineering solutions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Eligible to work in the UK without restriction or visa sponsorship.
