This role sits within the STS segment of the Integrated Solutions business unit, which focuses on engineering and project delivery services including front-end and detailed engineering, procurement, construction services, and program management primarily in hydrocarbons and energy transition industries.
We invite a subject matter expert in tank and pressure vessel engineering to join our dynamic team. This highly respected position involves extensive interaction with clients, project managers, suppliers, senior leadership, and KBR’s global network of mechanical engineers. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership in the engineering of LNG storage tanks, atmospheric storage tanks, and pressure vessels.
KBR is at the forefront of delivering innovative design and construction projects across both energy transition and conventional energy markets, working on some of the largest and most complex projects worldwide with some of the brightest minds in the industry.
Experience
Proven track record as a subject matter expert in static equipment engineering, particularly in energy transition and petrochemical projects. Experience typically gained through consulting engineering firms or end-user organisations. Expertise covering concept development, front-end engineering design, and detailed design.
Comprehensive knowledge of static equipment design standards relevant to the energy transition or oil and gas sectors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Self-motivated and able to lead technical discussions with clients, project teams, and senior leadership.

Qualifications
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Chartered Engineer status is required.
