About the Role
Join Arup's ports & maritime community, a dynamic team based in London specialising in maritime and coastal schemes for over three decades. Our maritime business is expanding rapidly, driven by passionate engineers focused on addressing the challenges posed by climate change and the global shift to net-zero. We work with a diverse range of clients throughout the entire lifecycle of port and maritime projects, delivering innovative, sustainable solutions on time and on budget.

As a Maritime Engineer, you will contribute to a broad portfolio of local and international projects including feasibility studies, port master planning, technical due diligence, and conceptual to detailed design. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to provide responsive services to internal and external clients, assist in developing digital tools to enhance project delivery, and support proposal preparation for new opportunities. This role offers excellent growth potential in a fast-evolving sector.

Your work will involve supporting the delivery of maritime and port projects, assisting with project management of multi-disciplinary teams, producing engineering designs, calculations, models, reports, and drawings, and representing the maritime team within Arup. You will actively participate in knowledge sharing, innovation, and internal training initiatives to optimise project outcomes.

Typical clients include port owners/operators, offshore wind developers, contractors, investors, and public sector bodies. Our projects are varied and impactful, aiming to create positive change globally.
