Since 2005, Midsummer has evolved from a small off-grid PV supplier to a major distributor and software creator, driven by a passion to make a positive environmental impact.

As a Marketing Executive, you will be part of a small, dynamic marketing team reporting to the Head of Marketing. You will promote our products, training, and services that support installer networks across the UK. Your role will involve planning and driving targeted campaigns using the full marketing mix including social media, website, advertising, PR, literature, and events.

Key responsibilities include creating responsive social media posts, updating websites and landing pages, producing literature and adverts using Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and other tools, managing email promotions and newsletters, writing blog content and case studies, and liaising with media for PR opportunities. You will also support marketing strategies for large trade shows like Solar & Storage Live and collaborate with the software leadership team on product marketing strategies and new website development.

This role requires adaptability to manage a variety of inbound tasks and proactive monitoring of social media platforms. You will work in a relaxed, collaborative environment with a strong focus on innovation and environmental care.

Experience
Proven experience in creative product marketing and promotions.
Experience editing HTML for websites and email applications.
Familiarity with marketing tools and social media marketing (paid and organic).
Good IT knowledge including Google Apps, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and Hubspot.

About you
Degree qualified or relevant experience in marketing communications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong ability to craft compelling content and messaging.
Good understanding of customer segmentation and product positioning.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
Well organized with a keen eye for detail.
Enthusiastic, effective, and adaptable to handle diverse tasks.
Interest in recent advancements in the renewable energy sector.
