Hours
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 16:00 - 00:30. Some bank holiday work required with eligibility for a day in lieu, subject to minimum staffing levels.

About the Role
As an Operator at Veolia, you will play a key role in managing waste operations safely and efficiently. You will operate the Front Loading Shovel and 360-degree Excavator to transport waste following relevant training. Your responsibilities will include routine maintenance and cleaning of mobile plant and equipment, such as checking oils and water levels and reporting any defects. You will liaise with site personnel, contractors, tipping authorities, and haulage departments to ensure smooth operations. Maximising outgoing weights of material, loading vehicles with waste, controlling vehicle movements, and operating the weighbridge will also be part of your daily duties. Experience
Previous experience within a similar operational environment is essential.

About You
You must hold a Mobile Plant licence for loading shovel or 360 excavator and have a full UK driving licence. You should be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team in a busy operational setting.

Qualifications
Relevant mobile plant licences and a full UK driving licence are required for this role.
