Hours
40 hours per week: 7.15am - 4.15pm Monday to Friday, alternate Saturdays 7.15am - 1.15pm. Overtime potentially available each week.

£36,395.43 per annum plus Veolia benefits

About the Role
Join Veolia and help make a difference by taking care of the environment and supporting our communities. As a Plant Operative, you will be responsible for the safe operation of heavy mobile plant at the landfill, transfer station, and IBA facilities. This includes operating wheeled loading shovels, 360 excavators, dozers, articulated dumpers, agricultural dumpers, tractors, and landfill compactors. Full training will be provided if needed. Your daily duties will include operator checks, waste handling, maximizing outgoing vehicle weights, routine site maintenance and cleaning, and completing machine hours, defect sheets, and other related paperwork. Experience
Similar operational manual handling experience is required. Experience in the waste industry, mobile plant operation, or landfill operations is desirable.

Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices is essential. You should be reliable, safety conscious, and motivated to work in an outdoor environment. A commitment to teamwork and continuous learning is important.

Qualifications
Mobile plant licences are desirable but not essential as training will be provided. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
