About the Role
Zenobē is on a mission to make clean power accessible by designing, financing, building, and operating the world’s most sophisticated battery systems. We enable the uptake of renewable power, electrify fleets for cleaner air, and provide clean, portable power including repurposed electric vehicle batteries. With over £2.7 billion raised in funding and more than 1.2GW of grid-connected batteries live or under contract, we are the UK’s leading owner and operator of battery storage and a major player in the electric bus market in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
The Policy and Regulation Manager will report to the Director of Business Development – Network Infrastructure and collaborate closely with Marketing, Strategic Communications, Legal, and other internal teams. The role involves managing day-to-day policy tracking and development, leading political outreach, and advocating for policy frameworks that support the growth of battery energy storage systems (BESS).

The role also supports cross-business collaboration on energy and transport policy, drafts consultation responses, and contributes to internal and external communications on battery storage policy.
Health, safety, wellbeing, and sustainability are integral to this role, with an expectation to embed these principles into daily responsibilities and promote a safe, supportive, and environmentally conscious work environment.
