About the Role
Are you ready to take the next step in your career and contribute to meaningful projects that improve quality of life? At Tetra Tech, you will join a high-performing flood risk and drainage team working on major and challenging infrastructure projects across the UK for both private and public sector clients. Our projects cover a wide range of sectors including defence, transport, local government, healthcare, education, commercial, industrial, and residential development, with schemes ranging from £2k to £100M in value.
As a Principal or Associate Flood Risk Consultant, you will lead projects and proposals related to flood risk assessment, drainage strategy, design and modelling, environmental water assessments, and input into Environmental Impact Assessments. You will work independently and proactively from project inception through to delivery and close out, ensuring best practice and client satisfaction. You will support project managers and may take on project management responsibilities for lower risk projects, including client-facing roles as you progress.
You will also mentor and supervise junior staff, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects on time and budget. Occasional UK-wide travel and some work outside normal office hours may be required. Tetra Tech provides comprehensive internal project management training, mentoring, coaching, and continuous professional development to support your career growth and excellence in delivery.
