About the Role
We have a great opportunity for a Process Technician to join our team at Long Reach STW on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. No prior experience in the waste or water industry is required; we welcome applications from candidates outside the sector who can bring fresh perspectives and ideas. This is an essential front-line role critical to the operation of our sewage treatment works, helping maintain supply to our customers and protect the environment.
Every day is different, working in all weather conditions across multiple sites. Your responsibilities will include planned preventative maintenance of equipment to support plant operation, operating and cleaning plant and equipment to maintain operational and health and safety standards, conducting operational sampling, attending reactive jobs following equipment failure, keeping sites clean and tidy, undertaking safety and security checks, and carrying out daily site checks to ensure compliant operation.

Experience
No previous experience in the water or waste industry is required. We value enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and fresh ideas from candidates outside the sector.
