About the Role
Join Ofwat’s Major Projects Team within the Major Projects and Markets Directorate as a Project Delivery Lead. This Principal level role plays a vital part in delivering Ofwat's strategy and regulatory commitments across a £50bn pipeline of major water and wastewater infrastructure projects in England. You will lead programmes, workstreams, or projects, facilitating the development and delivery of major infrastructure projects primarily through competitive delivery models such as Ofwat's Direct Procurement for Customers (DPC) model and the Specified Infrastructure Projects Regulations (SIPR) model, including projects like the Thames Tideway Tunnel. You will also engage with projects approved through the RAPID (Regulator's Alliance for Progressing Infrastructure Development) process. This role requires flexibility and proactivity to respond to organisational needs and contribute to shaping the future of water regulation, ensuring real value for customers, communities, and the environment.
About Us
We are Ofwat, the Water Services Regulation Authority, a non-ministerial government department regulating the water sector in England and Wales. Our mission is to hold water companies to account, drive performance, and ensure the sector delivers real value for customers and the environment.
