About the Role
Join our fabulous Peatland Team as our new Senior Administrator and help us make the world a better place for nature and people. Over the last five years, the team has restored over 1300ha of precious blanket bog at and adjacent to Lake Vyrnwy, building collaborative partnerships, pioneering new approaches and driving wider ambition. Our plans for the next five years are equally ambitious and as our Peatland Senior Administrator you will be critical to the team’s success.
You will provide comprehensive business and financial support for a work programme spanning multiple sites, teams and funders. This includes managing financial processes such as grant applications, funding streams, budgeting, delivery, reporting and auditing. You will work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to build productive professional relationships that deliver more for nature, carbon and people.
Key responsibilities include contract management support (procurement, invoicing, auditing), IT system support with complex and sensitive data, ensuring compliance with consents, licenses, CDM and health & safety regulations, and acting as a first point of contact for enquiries, linking with partners and supporters.
This is a hybrid role with an expectation to work at least one day a week from the RSPB Lake Vyrnwy office in Mid Wales.
