About the Role
Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey. As a Senior Commercial Consultancy Manager within the Utilities Sector, you will be responsible for administering contractual terms and conditions for suppliers and sub-contractors, managing incentivisation arrangements, and providing regular cash flow forecasts of expenditure. You will report expenditure against the Incentive Target monthly and manage the change management process by consulting with other functions to assess changes and risks to the overall project out-turn. Your role includes producing monthly consolidated project-wide cost/expenditure reports, managing the monthly valuation process, and handling potential contractor and supplier claims. You will oversee the adjudication of claims and make recommendations for settlement, finalise contractor accounts, and close out contractor contracts for the project. Additionally, you will manage the process to raise consultant, supplier, or contractor instructions for signature by approved parties and ensure financial contingencies built into packages reflect the current programme position. This role requires a strong commercial focus and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
