The Senior Commercial Consultancy Manager provides alliance-wide leadership on performance assurance, cost control and reporting across a large scale utilities project in the region. You will deliver a single, trusted view of commercial and operational performance, strengthening governance, transparency and decision-making, and enabling successful AMP8 outcomes through consistent standards and collaboration.
Working collaboratively with Anglian Water and Alliance partners - including the NEC ECC Project Manager, AWS Commercial Performance Manager, Programme Delivery Manager, and Delivery Assurance Manager - the role supports the achievement of required outputs, outcomes, and efficiencies under AMP8.
You will be responsible for:
- Establishing a single, assured alliance-wide performance truth
- Managing commercial governance, controls, reporting and targets
- Ensuring consistency across cost, forecasting and change
- Providing clear leadership to regional and central commercial teams
- Aligning delivery with Anglian Water frameworks
- Driving insight, continuous improvement and value
- Championing proactive risk and opportunity management
- Embedding safety first and a zero-accident culture.

Experience
Proven experience in commercial management within the water or utilities sector, ideally with consultancy and alliance-based project delivery. Strong background in performance assurance, cost control, and commercial governance.
