About the Role
As our much-valued colleague prepares to retire, we’re looking for an exceptional person to build on their success and lead the next chapter of our corporate partnerships programme. The Heart of England Forest is creating and conserving a vast, connected forest across Warwickshire and Worcestershire. Through the restoration of woodland, grassland, and wetland habitats, we are helping nature recover and supporting rare and threatened species across the West Midlands. Our vision is to grow the Forest to 12,000 hectares, planting 12 million trees, creating a resilient landscape for generations to come - a place where wildlife can flourish and people can find peace, connection, and community.

We’re looking for an ambitious and talented Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to continue to grow corporate support for the Heart of England Forest. With support from the Director of Fundraising & Engagement, you will lead the delivery of an ambitious corporate fundraising strategy that includes a corporate giving programme, significant partnerships, sponsorships, and corporate volunteering opportunities. You will line manage the Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser and work with a high level of autonomy as part of a supportive wider fundraising team to grow corporate support into a significant and sustainable income stream.

Working closely with colleagues, senior leaders, and trustees, you will create compelling proposals, deliver memorable pitches, and demonstrate the impact of partner support. You will also lead, coach, and develop the corporate fundraising team to achieve outstanding results.

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering an ambitious corporate fundraising plan
- Growing and stewarding a strong portfolio of corporate partners
- Researching, cultivating, and securing high-value prospects
- Creating commercially sound partnership propositions and funding models
- Making confident financial asks and delivering against income targets
- Providing outstanding account management and building long-term relationships
- Producing persuasive proposals, presentations, and impact reports
- Developing an annual corporate communications and engagement plan
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and upholding data-protection requirements
- Collaborating across the charity to deliver excellent partner experiences
- Representing the Heart of England Forest at meetings, events, and presentations

Requirements

Experience
- Proven success in securing and developing strategic corporate partnerships
- Strong record of meeting or exceeding significant income targets
- Excellent prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and account-management skills
- Experience using fundraising CRM and Microsoft 365 applications
- Knowledge of the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice and corporate agreements
- Experience of collaborative working across teams and with senior stakeholders
- Flexibility to travel within the UK and occasionally work outside normal hours

About you
- Confident in making substantial financial asks
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Commercial judgement and ability to develop viable funding propositions
- Strong organisation, prioritisation, and people-management skills
- Ambitious, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously while being a supportive team player

Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required, but relevant fundraising or management experience is essential. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults is required, including willingness to undergo appropriate protection screening and DBS checks.
