About the Role
As part of E.ON’s growth strategy, this high-impact role within the Cities Quarter Partnerships team supports the delivery of the Medium Term Plan (MTP) by assisting in planning and reporting across the team and providing comprehensive insights on monthly performance. You will lead month-end reporting and insight, liaising with internal stakeholders to monitor the performance of individual city partnerships and consolidating total City Quarter Solutions Partnerships via the Virtual P&L. This includes utilising financial and operational data to highlight risks and opportunities and leading action-orientated finance reviews for key partnerships.
You will coordinate forecasts and business plans by establishing a clear framework and collaborative process for forecasting that meets EIS and Group planning requirements, ensuring all systems are reconciled and forecasting packs are of high quality with clear messaging.
As a business partner, you will support and challenge the Coventry and New Cities teams, adding value to assist in decision-making. Managing relationships with key senior stakeholders across E.ON, you will act as a delegate for the Senior Finance City Partnerships Manager and build relationships with the EIS leadership team.
The role also involves driving process improvements by implementing efficiency changes and automation in Cities reporting and planning processes, enhancing financial management reporting, and leading the financial development of new local authority and private partnership bids from early pre-bid discovery through to submission and successful delivery within a multi-discipline project team. You will develop robust investment cases aligned to E.ON’s growth ambitions.
Experience
Proven track record as a senior finance professional with effective business partnering experience.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to support decision-making.
Experience managing relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders and influencing at senior levels.
Flexible to travel as required.
