About the Role
The Energy sector is rapidly transforming with growing demand, regulatory changes, ambitious carbon reduction targets, and new technological innovations. Join Stantec’s expanding Energy team in Warrington as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to support and lead ground engineering services focused on the energy sector. You will plan and supervise ground investigations, prepare technical reports and presentations, and communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including civil engineers, architects, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle to deliver best value and client service excellence. This role offers the opportunity to work within a strong, growing, and collaborative team, contributing to a diverse portfolio of energy projects and supporting the growth of Stantec UK&I’s business lines.

Experience
Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering subject such as geotechnical engineering, hydrogeology, geology, or a related field. Proven experience supporting projects to assess ground conditions from planning and execution through data analysis and report writing. Strong understanding of UK geology and geotechnical/geo-environmental principles.

Qualifications
