About the Role
Stantec is a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting, committed to innovating at the intersection of community, creativity, and client relationships. We are seeking a PMO & Programme Integration Lead to join our Programme Management and Commercial Management (PMCM) team, focusing on large-scale capital programmes within the water sector. This pivotal role involves shaping, governing, and integrating programme management, project controls, and performance reporting to optimise delivery and ensure decisions are driven by accurate insight, strong governance, and integrated financial and schedule data.

You will provide strategic leadership by establishing and continuously improving programme management frameworks, integrating data from systems such as Primavera P6, Power BI, Oracle, and IPS to create a single source of truth for programme performance. You will act as a strategic advisor to clients, champion best practices within the PMO, and facilitate alignment across project teams, commercial teams, executive stakeholders, and delivery functions.

Key responsibilities include overseeing programme controls, reporting, and performance insight; ensuring robust governance of schedule, financial, and risk data; managing financial, commercial, and resource governance; embedding proactive risk management frameworks; leading and mentoring multidisciplinary teams; and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders to maintain alignment and momentum across programmes.

This role blends high-end PMO advisory, project controls expertise, and transformational programme leadership, requiring a strategic mindset combined with strong operational discipline. It offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects within the water sector and contribute to sustainable infrastructure development.

Requirements

Experience
- Extensive programme management or PMO leadership experience within large, complex capital programmes.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in financial governance, budget management, and resource forecasting.
- Significant sector experience in water, energy, or related fields with transferable skills.
- Proficiency with programme management and project controls tools such as Primavera P6, Power BI, Oracle, and Microsoft Suite.
- Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience blend.
