About the Role
This role contributes to London Stock Exchange Group's (LSEG) ambition to be a strategic enabler of sustainable growth. Working within the Group Sustainability team, you will play a critical role in discrete programmes of LSEG's sustainability strategy. Central to this position is the development and leadership of LSEG's human rights approach, including preparations to meet the requirements of the upcoming Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD). Key responsibilities include providing insight and expertise to evolve and embed strategy on human rights and modern slavery management, disclosing progress in line with annual reporting and regulatory requirements, and establishing a CSDDD readiness programme with budget oversight and project delivery. You will also contribute to internal capacity building through training and engagement, improve policies and processes to manage human rights risks, and manage external agencies and third parties as needed. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.

Experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of human rights, modern slavery, and related sustainability legislation, industry trends, and best practices
- Proven experience in sustainability strategy implementation in a corporate or consultancy setting
- Knowledge of CSDDD requirements and application
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience working in a matrix structure and partnering beyond the Group Sustainability team
