We are seeking a Senior or Principal Environmental Advisor/Scientist to join our ambitious team, offering excellent career progression opportunities.

You will support the delivery of client and project environmental objectives and targets, assisting the EIA and environmental management teams by conducting environmental planning reports, EIA screening and scoping, and environmental management studies and audits. You will also advise clients on environmental and sustainability issues.

By joining our Belfast team, you will play a key role in safeguarding Northern Ireland’s water infrastructure, driving AMP8 delivery in the UK, and turning complex climate challenges into sustainable solutions for NI Water and Uisce Éireann. Your expertise will help ensure resilient, efficient, and clean resources for communities to thrive for decades. You will also have opportunities to mentor the next generation of local engineers.

Experience
Proven capability as a client-focused Environmental Advisor with experience providing robust advice on routes to consent, critical environmental risks and opportunities, EIA, environmental management studies, and audits. Experience in analysing and presenting data using geographic information systems (GIS). General knowledge of ecology, flood risk, town planning, and water resources is beneficial.

Qualifications
Ideally hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Science, or Environmental Planning accredited by a relevant professional body such as CIWEM, IEMA, or RTPI.
