About the Role
Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey. This is an exciting opportunity to join the procurement and supply chain management team working in the private commercial sector delivering projects for our global corporate real estate clients. The role involves advising clients across the full range of procurement and supply chain services.

You will be responsible for building trusted relationships, both face to face and remotely, across internal and external stakeholders at all levels and across various countries and markets. You will manage and perform end-to-end procurement and supply chain exercises including strategy, market analysis, market engagement, prequalification, and tender drafting. Managing, moderating and negotiating with the supply chain, producing recommendation reports and monitoring supply chain performance will be key tasks.

Applying market insight and due diligence to inform commercial decisions and risk-balanced procurement strategies is essential. You will apply working knowledge of how technical specification requirements and documents are integrated into tender activities, oversee and review stakeholder documentation as required, and manage the tender process via various tools, including online portals.

Ensuring that all procurement and supply chain activities follow processes and procedures set out by Mace, the client, and relevant regulations is critical. You will deliver the strategy and plans for your area/unit, providing innovative solutions to support the end-to-end process. Managing and providing leadership to a team of managers and professionals, ensuring the principles, structures, tools, capabilities, and responsibilities are in place to deliver area plans and excellence is a core part of the role.

Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and sharing responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery is also expected.

Our values underpin everything we do:
- Safety first - Going home safe and well: championing a safe, diverse and inclusive working environment, understanding the importance of wellbeing in every team.
- Client focus - Deliver on our promise: owning the quality of deliverables, strategic outcomes and building long term relationships with our clients.
- Integrity - Always do the right thing: influencing positive outcomes within our industry while aligning with compliance obligations.
- Create opportunity - For our people to excel: championing a continuous improvement culture throughout all activities, inspiring our people and teams to develop.

Mace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates. Even if you feel you do not fulfil all the criteria, please apply as you may still be the best candidate for this role or another role within our organisation. We are also open to discussing part time, flexible, and hybrid working options if suitable within the role.
