About the Role
Swiftsource is seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Development Engineer specializing in Solar and Battery technologies. This role requires a broad understanding of the energy industry, particularly distributed energy technology, smart energy systems, and transmission and distribution networks. You will be involved in the development and design of LV, MV, and HV power networks as well as energy generation projects. The position demands effective collaboration with colleagues and customers, managing and interfacing with consultants and Engineering Procurement and Construction contractors. A strong grasp of the UK energy market and regulations is essential to succeed in this role.

Experience
Degree level qualification in a relevant STEM subject such as Electrical Engineering or a related energy industry discipline is essential. Proven experience in the development and design of LV, MV, and HV power networks and/or energy generation projects is highly desirable. Experience managing and interfacing with consultants and EPC contractors is advantageous.

About you
You are a highly motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You demonstrate flexibility and a collaborative approach when working with colleagues and customers at a senior level. A strong understanding of the UK energy market and regulatory environment is required.

Qualifications
A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM subject within the energy sector is required.
