About the Role
As a Senior Service Coordinator at Veolia, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of service delivery, including the dynamic allocation of work to vehicles and routes. You will communicate regularly with customers, stakeholders, and drivers, providing status updates and maintaining strong contact with front-line staff. Your responsibilities include managing completion of all debriefs, reporting necessary actions, and engaging face-to-face with drivers to support issue resolution on routes. You will report all safety concerns or container damage and promote a safety-first culture by encouraging ‘stop the job’ if conditions are unsafe. Supporting the Operations Manager, you will ensure legal compliance on-site relating to Working Time Directive (WTD), O’licence, and transport regulations. You will also have direct reporting responsibility for all drivers and Service Coordinators, contributing to a safe, efficient, and compliant transport operation.

Experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- Experience in waste, transport, or logistics industries is desirable
- Understanding of transport compliance and Working Time Directive (WTD) is advantageous
- Proficient IT skills with ability to adapt to Google operating systems

- Excellent communication skills, able to engage with people at all levels including drivers, frontline employees, and customers
- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage a busy workload in a fast-paced environment
- UK Driving Licence
