About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join Brent Council’s Healthy Streets and Parking Team as a Senior Traffic Orders Maker. You will assist the Team Leader with the preparation and implementation of Traffic Management Orders and other statutory processes that contribute to improving public safety across Brent. Your responsibilities will include managing permanent and temporary traffic regulation orders related to traffic and parking management schemes, including the display and monitoring of public notices. You will also handle statutory processes such as collating and responding to formal objections and representations. Additionally, you will lead on the use of ParkMap software and deputise for the Team Leader of Traffic Orders as required.

Experience
Practical experience in traffic order making with the ability to collate, analyse and interpret data accurately. Experience using ParkMap software is essential.

Qualifications
A minimum qualification of HNC, BTEC or equivalent in civil engineering including traffic engineering is required. Knowledge of information technology systems relevant to the role is essential.
