About the Role
When you see the world as we do, you see the chance to help the world take better care of its resources and help it become a better place for everyone. At Veolia, everyone plays a part in working alongside communities, looking after the environment, and contributing to an inclusive culture. As a Service Coordinator, you will proactively communicate with customers and provide status updates while maintaining contact with drivers throughout the day. Upon drivers’ return to the depot, you will oversee the debrief process within the allocated time and report any necessary actions or updates. You will be the face-to-face contact with drivers daily, supporting them to act on issues identified during rounds, including reporting safety concerns or container damage via close call reporting and encouraging ‘stop the job’ if it is unsafe to continue, in line with company procedures. You will create a customer excellence culture, react to and manage customer queries and complaints, and implement service practices that meet customer needs. Maintaining a “zero harm” safety culture within depots and ensuring service delivery aligns with customer expectations will be key. You will engage with stakeholders including the wider Veolia and Management teams, ensure legal compliance on site regarding Working Time Directive and transport regulations, provide clear and accurate daily debrief reporting, lead and develop direct reports, and communicate important business matters to drivers.
