£25,090.80 per year plus overtime. Potential earnings of around £30,000 with overtime.

This wood recycling facility is a flagship, purpose-built site that takes delivery of waste wood for recycling. As a Site Operative, your responsibilities will include checking incoming waste, operating mobile plant such as wheeled loading shovels and material handlers to shred waste, managing stockpiles of wood, screening wood to the desired grade, shredding, screening, weighing vehicles in and out, and loading vehicles with processed material. You will also be responsible for daily maintenance of plant and associated attachments on site.

Experience
Experience operating mobile plant including wheeled loading shovels and material handlers is essential. Previous experience in a similar role is required.
About you
You will hold a loading shovel licence and have material handler experience. A full driving licence is also required. You should be motivated to work safely and efficiently in a busy recycling environment.
Qualifications
Relevant licences for operating mobile plant are required. Other formal qualifications are not specified but practical experience and licences are essential.
