About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join a growing renewables business. The role focuses on domestic solar PV installations for able-to-pay customers across Surrey and surrounding areas. You will deliver high-quality installations with a strong emphasis on customer service, compliance, and workmanship. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with strong solar experience who is confident testing, inspecting, certifying, and signing off their own work. Responsibilities include installing and connecting solar PV systems, completing testing, inspection, fault finding, and commissioning, as well as working on battery storage and EV charging installations when required. You will also be responsible for completing electrical certification and relevant paperwork accurately, maintaining a clean and professional site presence, liaising with customers and project teams, and adhering to all health and safety procedures.

Experience
- Proven solar PV installation experience, ideally within domestic settings
- Confident testing, inspecting, certifying, and signing off own electrical work
- Experience working with able-to-pay domestic customers
- Ability to work independently and as part of an installation team

Confident and professional with strong communication skills. Comfortable working in occupied homes and representing the business with a customer-focused approach. Reliable and committed to delivering clean, compliant, and high-quality installations.

Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- C&G 2391 or equivalent testing and inspection qualification
- Full UK driving licence

Desirable
- Battery storage experience
- ECS Gold Card
- EV charging experience
- Previous experience mentoring improvers or junior electricians
