About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Solar Electrician to join our team in Swansea. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, inspection, and maintenance of solar PV systems across both domestic and commercial sites. You will play a key role in ensuring all electrical work is carried out to the highest safety and compliance standards. Key responsibilities include installing, testing, and commissioning solar PV systems, fault finding and repairing existing installations, performing electrical testing and certification in line with industry standards, and ensuring compliance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and relevant codes of practice. You will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and clients to deliver projects safely and on time while maintaining accurate records including inspection and test reports (2391). All work must adhere to health and safety requirements on site. Tools, PPE, and training will be provided, with opportunities for progression within a growing renewable energy business.

Experience
- Previous experience in solar PV installation (domestic and/or commercial)
- Experience with fault finding, inspection, and repair of solar and electrical installations
- Knowledge of electrical testing and certification processes

About you
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- ECS/JIB Gold Card preferred

Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- C&G 2391 (Testing & Inspection) or equivalent
- Desirable: Experience with battery storage and EV charger installation
- Desirable: IPAF/PASMA qualifications
- Knowledge of solar inverters and monitoring systems
