About the Role
At Eco2Solar, we’re leading the change toward a cleaner, greener future by making renewable power accessible, affordable, and sustainable for everyone. We have an exciting opportunity for a Solar PV Labourer to join our team and develop skills within the renewable energy industry. As a Solar PV Labourer, you will support experienced installers with the safe and efficient installation of Solar PV systems. You will gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and learn about GSE and Viridian systems while working to high safety and quality standards. Your duties will include assisting with tools, equipment, and materials, maintaining a safe and tidy site, working as part of the installation team, and participating in ongoing training. Occasional nights away from home may be required.

Key Responsibilities
1st fix installation of back plates and battens, fixing clamps to ensure all items are installed according to manufacturer’s instructions (40% of time). Installation of Solar PV panels, ensuring correct linking, no trapped cables, and secure fixing (40% of time). Installation of large non-standard arrays requiring multi-day planning and occasional overnight stays (15% of time). Taking DC voltage readings and completing all related forms accurately (5% of time).

Experience
No specific prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and develop within the Solar PV industry is essential.
