About the Role
As a Solar PV Roofer, you will be responsible for installing Solar PV systems on domestic rooftops, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will collaborate closely with electrical engineers and installation teams to deliver high-quality solar installations across residential properties. Your key responsibilities will include installing Solar PV panels and mounting systems, carrying out snagging work and resolving installation issues, diagnosing and troubleshooting faults on existing solar installations, and maintaining accurate job documentation. You will ensure all installations comply with relevant industry standards and regulations while following strict health and safety procedures when working at height and on site.

Experience
Proven roofing experience is essential; experience with Solar PV installations is desirable. Experience carrying out snagging work and fault diagnosis is required.

About you
You must have a good understanding of Solar PV systems and components, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work safely at height. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team, with good communication and teamwork skills. A full UK driving licence is required, and you must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to the Chorley area.
