About the Role
Valoris Group is recruiting a Solar PV Service & Maintenance Electrician to join a growing renewable energy specialist. You will maintain and repair solar PV and battery storage systems across domestic and commercial properties. This role is ideal for a skilled Electrician who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and resolving technical faults. Whether you are already experienced in solar or have a strong electrical fault-finding background and want to break into renewables, this is an exciting opportunity to develop specialist skills.

You will be responsible for keeping solar PV and battery storage systems running safely and efficiently by carrying out servicing, fault diagnosis, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Your work will involve servicing domestic and commercial solar PV systems, diagnosing and repairing faults on inverters and battery storage systems, investigating system performance issues and error codes, performing electrical testing and inspection, troubleshooting monitoring and communication faults, replacing faulty components, completing planned preventative maintenance and reactive call-outs, and producing accurate service reports while communicating findings to customers.

Experience
Qualified Electrician with strong electrical fault-finding experience. Confident diagnosing and resolving electrical issues independently. Experience with solar PV servicing or maintenance and battery storage systems is highly desirable.

Qualifications
Full UK driving licence required. Good understanding of electrical testing, inspection, and safe isolation. Inspection and testing qualifications are highly desirable. Familiarity with SolarEdge, Fox ESS, SolaX or similar manufacturers and knowledge of AC/DC systems and renewable energy technologies is advantageous.
