About the Role
As a Solar Technical Designer at Zuno, you will be an integral part of the technical team, responsible for desktop surveying installations to ensure engineers attend with the correct materials for Solar PV and Battery Storage system installations. Your work will comply with all current MCS, NAPIT, and manufacturer regulations. This is an office-based role focused on delivering customer service excellence and supporting engineers throughout the installation process. You will review customer orders for product suitability, manage issues raised by engineers or customers, advise on best technical practices, and maintain clear and accurate job records. Effective communication with customers, engineers, and colleagues is essential, as is identifying and escalating any abnormal problems that could impact project success. Additional duties may be assigned by management as required.

Experience
Proven experience in solar PV system installation, inspection, or technical auditing is essential. Strong knowledge of solar PV technology, electrical systems, and relevant codes and standards is required.

About you
You are detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You have good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly report technical findings. You can work independently and manage multiple audits within deadlines.

Qualifications
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and project documentation is necessary. Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in solar PV or electrical systems will be advantageous.
