About the Role
As a Solar Technical Designer at Zuno, you will be an integral part of the technical team, responsible for desktop surveying installations to ensure engineers attend with the correct materials to install Solar PV and Battery Storage systems. Your work will comply with all current MCS, NAPIT, and manufacturer regulations. This is an office-based role focused on delivering customer service excellence and supporting engineers to achieve high-quality installations.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service ensuring accurate and relevant advice
- Review customer product orders for suitability and address any issues before materials are dispatched
- Manage and resolve issues raised by engineers or customers before and during installation
- Advise engineers on best technical practices and customer service matters
- Identify and escalate abnormal problems that may impact customers or engineers
- Maintain clear and accurate job records
- Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and colleagues
- Perform any other duties as required by management

Experience
Proven experience in solar PV system installation, inspection, or technical auditing is essential. Strong knowledge of solar PV technology, electrical systems, and relevant codes and standards is required.

About you
You are detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You have strong written and verbal communication abilities, capable of clearly reporting technical findings. You can work independently and manage multiple audits within deadlines.

Qualifications
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and project documentation is necessary. Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in solar PV or electrical systems will be advantageous.
