The Systems & Infrastructure group within Intelligent Infrastructure provides high value advisory and design services aimed at making everyday transportation and infrastructure cleaner, safer and more enjoyable through technology.
Our group specialises in five technical areas:
- Connectivity: Offering business and technical advice on solutions that interconnect applications and devices, including standards advisory, technical assurance and design services in 4G/5G, LPWAN, Unified Communications, WAN and Fibre technologies.
- Cyber Security: Supporting clients operating Critical National Infrastructure with specialists across the cyber security lifecycle for non-classical IT, IoT and mixed environments.
- Data and Architecture: Advising clients on data-driven solutions using analytics and data science to empower decision makers, leveraging transport domain expertise across business, application and technology layers.
- Digital Infrastructure Design: Using data in digital models to ensure new roadside technology designs work effectively in real-world environments.
- Systems: Applying systems engineering and systems thinking to deliver complex solutions, focusing on specification, procurement, verification and validation of operational technology systems.
We are seeking enthusiastic consultants, engineers and project managers of all levels to support these capabilities. This is a speculative opportunity; your CV will be reviewed against current and anticipated vacancies within Intelligent Infrastructure.
Experience
- Experience working on high-quality consultancy-style projects aligned with one or more of the technical areas described above.
- Experience working as a client, consultant or contractor, ideally within transport, public sector or high-risk environments.

Qualifications
- A degree or similar higher education qualification in a relevant engineering or technical discipline.
