Hours
Full time, 40 hours per week, 6:00 - 14:30. Required to work 2 weekends a month (Saturday rate 1.5x and Sunday 2x rate)

About the Role
As a Street Cleansing Team Leader, you will assist the Service Delivery Manager to ensure daily vehicle and asset checks are completed at the start and during each shift, with all appropriate forms and e-documents correctly filled out. You will ensure all staff receive the correct worksheet, round/beat sheet, and map for their daily tasks, including any amendments, and confirm their understanding. You will verify that all staff have the necessary tools and equipment in serviceable condition to perform their duties. You will investigate any accidents involving employees, vehicles, or equipment, producing all required documentation for your Manager. Your role includes undertaking daily contract monitoring surveys and assisting with related reports. You will help ensure all vehicles, plant, and equipment are cleansed weekly or as per the cleansing schedule. At the end of each day, you will confirm the workforce has been correctly signed off and that all routes, maps, worksheets, and log sheets are returned, completed, and signed. Additionally, you will provide cover for the Manager as needed.

Requirements

Experience
Supervisory or management experience is required. Experience and understanding of transport management or a similar field is essential. Good IT knowledge and leadership experience are also required. Previous waste management experience and experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

Qualifications
A valid driving licence is required for this role.
