About the Role
Join the Mick George Group as a Technical Waste Assessor and develop your skills within a supportive and growing business. This role offers the opportunity to learn the waste management industry in depth and progress your career. You will provide technical support to the waste department and wider organisation to ensure compliance with legislation and environmental permits. Key responsibilities include technically assessing waste enquiries using EA guidance WM3, applying ADR regulations for waste classification, preparing responses to Environment Agency requests, and ensuring all waste assessments comply with current legislation and permits. You will liaise with internal teams, external laboratories, and customers to maintain high standards of service and compliance. Additional duties include managing Non-Conformance Reports, assisting with Duty of Care audits, generating compliant Waste Transfer and consignment notes, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires diligence, confidentiality, and excellent communication skills to support operational and customer satisfaction objectives.

Experience
Working understanding and previous experience applying WM3 technical guidance. In-depth knowledge of technical and chemical waste analysis and Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Experience producing compliant duty of care waste transfer paperwork. Proficient in MS Office applications.

Qualifications
