Glennon Brothers supplies a wide range of timber products to the construction, pallet wood and fencing industries, manufactures timber frame homes and engineered roof trusses, and operates combined heat and power (CHP) and wood pellet manufacturing facilities.

As a Timber Frame General Operative, reporting to the relevant Shift Supervisor or Team Lead, you will support the safe, efficient, and well-organised day-to-day operation of the timber frame production line. Working as part of a production team, you will carry out assigned operational tasks, maintain safety and quality standards, and contribute to productivity, housekeeping, and continuous improvement across the site.

The role involves supporting product handling activities including building pre-cut timber into various panels, gables, and trusses, using tools and machinery safely, assisting with quality checks, and working cooperatively with colleagues to achieve daily production targets. You will also participate in training, safety briefings, and continuous improvement initiatives to help maintain high standards and operational excellence.

Experience
Experience in timber frame, manufacturing, production or a similar operational environment is desirable but not essential. Experience working effectively as part of a team in a practical, operational setting is important. Experience with woodworking equipment such as nail guns is advantageous.

About you
You should have a hands-on, reliable, and safety-conscious approach to work, with flexibility to support different areas of the sawmill operation as required. Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while motivating the team and contributing to results is essential. Good health and safety awareness or willingness to learn is required.

Qualifications
Formal qualifications are not essential where the right attitude, aptitude, and willingness to learn are demonstrated. Relevant training, licences, or certifications are advantageous but not required as full training will be provided.
