Salary
£34,269 - £38,542 per annum base salary (depending on experience)
Overtime rates for weekday, weekend and Bank Holiday work paid at time and a half.

Join our dynamic and growing team within Sapphire Utility Solutions, a Lanes Group company specialising in multiple divisions. This role supports United Utilities contracts, predominantly wastewater network services as part of the AMP 7 period plan.
The Waste Water Operative will work from Carlisle WWTW alongside a United Utilities Customer Support Technician on the Bucket 1 reactive contract, solving problems on the sewer network. Key responsibilities include cleaning, CCTV inspections, and sewer investigations. You will attend to customers, inform them of works and timescales, and address any concerns.
Tasks include operating high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear blockages, carrying out CCTV inspections to assess pipe conditions, performing routine maintenance on equipment, and ensuring all safety issues are reported in line with company procedures. Competency in using electronic devices such as laptops or tablets for data entry is required.
This role requires working closely with the CST (UU Operative) and involves reactive and planned maintenance across the sewer network supported by traffic management and capital projects teams.
Experience
Desirable experience includes:
- HGV Class 2 (C) licence
- NRSWA - Sign, Lighting, Guarding

Qualifications
