About the Role
As a Water Treatment Supervisor, you will provide technical support for Water Treatment Services, including planned maintenance and reactive repair services for buildings and plant on site. You will ensure the development and implementation of new and innovative techniques to achieve maximum operational efficiency. Supporting Site Safety, Health and Environment initiatives within the team is a key responsibility.
You will lead and develop the Water Treatment Maintenance team through effective communication, training, and development, ensuring all staff are fully competent to undertake key tasks. You will support and manage a cost-effective maintenance programme for site services, buildings, plant, systems, and equipment.
Evaluating customer requirements, producing proposals including costs and timescales, and monitoring progress of maintenance and remedial works to ensure completion to customer and regulatory satisfaction are essential duties. You will also provide engineering services to design, plan, and project manage minor site refurbishments and equipment installations.
Promoting and improving the team’s Safety, Health and Environment and risk management processes in conjunction with the site HSE&Q team, regularly monitoring safety performance, and identifying areas for improvement are critical to this role.
Additionally, you will develop partnerships with suppliers to maximize mutual benefit, rationalize the supplier database, and implement and review service level agreements and key performance indicators to maintain high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Experience
Proven experience in water treatment services and maintenance supervision is preferred. Experience in managing teams and delivering technical support within a facilities management environment is advantageous.

You have a commitment to safety, health, and environmental standards and are capable of managing multiple priorities to meet customer and regulatory requirements. You are able to develop and maintain supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement within your team.
Qualifications
Relevant technical qualifications in water treatment, engineering, or facilities management are desirable. Training and certifications related to health and safety, risk management, and project management will be beneficial.
