About the Role
Join Forestry England, a passionate team dedicated to growing the nation’s forests for everyone. As a Work Supervisor based within the East Devon beat team, you will work alongside the Beat Forester, Community Ranger and two Craftspeople. Your role will involve supporting the planning and delivery of work programmes and directly supervising contractors and staff to ensure compliance with the UK Forestry Standard and UK Woodland Assurance Standard. You will assist in setting and maintaining standards in all aspects of forest and woodland management to help meet business plan targets. A strong knowledge of Health and Safety and a keen eye for detail are essential. Experience
Experience in supervising teams and contractors within a forestry or land management environment is desirable. A good understanding of forest and woodland management standards and Health and Safety regulations is essential.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in forestry, land management, or a related discipline are advantageous but not mandatory. A good knowledge of Health and Safety practices is required. The ability to provide accurate spoken English is essential.
