About the Role
Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. We are seeking an Associate Director - Information Management to join our Defence team supporting a major long-term programme operating within air system and Defence environments. This role will lead the development and delivery of Information Management (IM) strategies, standards, and processes aligned with ISO 19650 and the Mace Way, while establishing and managing the IM function across the project and programme.

The role is due to commence in late autumn to early winter and involves:
- Defining and delivering IM strategies, standards (including ISO 19650) and processes within Mace Way and for client-facing projects.
- Establishing and managing the project/programme IM function following the defined strategies, standards and processes.
- Executing assurance and quality control of documents and artefacts submitted and stored.
- Providing expert technical and functional advice and contributing to the global Digital Centre of Excellence, including its body of knowledge.
- Proactively contributing to bids with IM strategies and solutions to drive successful delivery.
- Managing a large team or multiple teams of direct reports, fostering behaviours that achieve success and key performance indicators (KPIs), including a culture of continuous improvement.
- Providing performance management, technical and career development, and coaching.
- Working collaboratively towards net zero carbon transition goals and sharing responsibility for identifying and managing associated carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery.

Requirements

Experience
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain UK security clearance.
- Leadership experience in information management across multiple projects/programmes.
- Expertise in information architecture, naming, numbering, filing, and ISO 19650 standards.
- Subject matter expert in key IM software such as Aconex, Viewpoint, Business Collaborator, or equivalents.
- Technical qualifications and certifications such as APM IM or Associate of Information Managers (or equivalent).
