As the Associate Director - PMO Lead, you will work within capital delivery for a utilities provider in the South East, delivering water and water recycling projects within their AMP8 programme. You will lead project teams in a collaborative environment, engaging positively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities include ensuring adherence to project governance procedures covering risk, cost, and change control, while working collaboratively across business teams to deliver projects successfully. You will champion Mace’s core values, including safety first, client focus, integrity, and creating opportunities for people to excel.

You will be accountable for maintaining exceptional standards in safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and project compliance. You will lead the delivery of key assignments, provide strategic direction, and ensure best-in-class service delivery. As a recognised expert in PMO and project controls, you will maintain a strong network with clients, contractors, consultancies, and other stakeholders.

In this role, you will lead and direct project teams in administering PMO and project controls processes, influencing long-term strategy development for the function or business unit. You will mentor and develop your team, foster knowledge sharing, and actively network to identify talent and support people to achieve their highest potential.

Experience
- Leadership and management of large, diverse teams
- Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise
- Managing relationships with senior stakeholders
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Knowledge of carbon and sustainability considerations impacting projects

Qualifications
