Salary
Up to £43,710 per annum, plus company van and fuel card

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor to lead our team on an exciting new social housing contract in Brent. This dynamic, field-based leadership role involves overseeing the delivery of reactive repairs and planned maintenance across occupied properties. You will ensure homes are safe, compliant, and ready for residents, making a real impact in the community. Key responsibilities include supervising day-to-day maintenance works, ensuring safety and quality standards, conducting site visits, allocating resources effectively, managing work schedules to minimise resident disruption, and maintaining compliance with Health & Safety regulations including COSHH. You will lead and support a team of operatives, provide coaching and performance management, enforce HR policies, monitor company assets, oversee material procurement, and liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Additional duties include supporting contract mobilisation, compliance audits, budget control, and providing cover for other supervisors as needed. This role requires a professional approach that reflects company values and maintains a positive image at all times.

Requirements

Experience
- Previous experience as a Building Maintenance Supervisor or similar supervisory role within housing or property maintenance
- Proven track record managing, monitoring, recording, and reporting Health & Safety and compliance activities
- Experience delivering planned and reactive maintenance in occupied properties

Qualifications
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in a relevant trade discipline
- Full, valid UK driving licence (must be aged over 21, held licence for over 3 months, and have less than 9 points)
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations including COSHH
- Working knowledge of Schedule of Rates
