Joining our teams in High Wycombe, Reading, or Cambridge, you will immerse yourself in the full project lifecycle. You will tackle a diverse pipeline of work, from asset planning and strategy to concept, outline, and detailed design. Collaborate directly with contractor partners on major Design & Build projects that move from the screen to the real world.

You will lead civil engineering design across Water/Wastewater treatment, networks, Storm Water overflows, and sustainable urban drainage. Benefit from Stantec’s global reach and local heart, accessing world-class expertise while staying rooted in the communities we serve. Be at the forefront of the industry’s shift toward carbon mitigation and climate adaptation, and collaborate nationally with our UK-wide team to share knowledge and redefine the water landscape.

Experience
Proven design experience within the UK water industry, demonstrating a solid track record of delivering civil engineering projects.

About you
You are a passionate engineer who doesn’t just want to "do the math," but wants to solve problems. You enjoy working collaboratively alongside project leads and have a natural knack for mentoring developing engineers. You are innovative and ready to look beyond traditional methods to find sustainable, efficient solutions for clients.

Qualifications
You hold a degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and are ideally Chartered or Incorporated (ICE, CIWEM, or similar).
