About the Role
As a Compliance Technologist, you will visit business customer sites to investigate trade effluent discharges and agree on action plans, helping customers manage their wastewater responsibly while protecting our network and the environment. This is a hands-on role where every day is different and your work truly matters. You will build strong relationships, address problems on site, and step in when things go wrong — whether that means creating action plans or gathering evidence for enforcement. Your responsibilities will include working with operations teams on pollution incidents, occasionally raising trade effluent charges for non-compliance, and preparing clear records and reports that stand up to scrutiny. A full UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle are essential for this role.

Benefits
Competitive salary with performance-related pay up to 10% of salary, 26 days annual leave increasing to 30 with length of service plus bank holidays, generous pension scheme through AON, and access to a wide range of health, wellbeing, and financial benefits including annual health MOTs, physiotherapy, counselling, Cycle to Work schemes, shopping vouchers, and life assurance.
