About the Role
As a Compliance Technologist, you will visit business customer sites to investigate trade effluent discharges and agree on action plans. You will help customers manage their wastewater responsibly, protecting both our network and the environment. This is a hands-on role where you will build strong relationships, address problems on site, and step in when things go wrong — whether that’s creating action plans or gathering evidence for enforcement. You will work closely with operations teams on pollution incidents such as blockages or unusual substances entering treatment works, occasionally raise trade effluent charges for non-compliance, and prepare clear records and reports that stand up to scrutiny. Your work will have a real impact every day.
Benefits
Competitive salary with performance-related pay plan up to 10% of salary. 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with length of service (plus bank holidays). Generous pension scheme through AON. Access to a wide range of health and wellbeing benefits including annual health MOTs, physiotherapy, counselling, Cycle to Work schemes, shopping vouchers, and life assurance.
