About the Role
You will be working on the front line as the face of Thames Water to our customers. Each year, over 500,000 tests are carried out on water samples collected from treatment works, reservoirs, and randomly selected customer properties to ensure the highest quality drinking water. As a Customer Sampling Technician, you will travel extensively between customers and sites, working as part of a busy team across a wide geographical area. Your responsibilities will include testing water samples, managing the maintenance of sampling records and equipment to industry standards, and investigating supply issues and customer complaints.

Experience
- Previous experience in driving and customer service is required due to frequent cold calling at residential and commercial properties and extensive driving/navigating.
About You
- Confident in cold calling customers at their homes and businesses.
- Organised and able to work independently.
- Good computer literacy.
- Willingness to learn about the water industry and relevant processes.
Qualifications
- A clean manual driving licence is essential.
- Existing knowledge of the water industry is desirable but not required.
