
Location
Woodford, E17 4AE. This role will be heavily field-based around the Thames Valley area.
Hours
38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. Includes participation in an out-of-hours rota with 1 working weekend in 7.
Salary
£14.59 per hour
About the Role
You will be working on the front line as the face of Thames Water to our customers. Each year, Thames Water carries out over 500,000 tests on water samples collected from treatment works, reservoirs, and randomly selected customer properties to ensure the highest quality drinking water.
- You will take part in an out-of-hours roster including weekends.
- The role involves extensive travel between customers and sites, working as part of a busy team across a wide geographical area.
- You will be responsible for testing water samples and managing the maintenance of sampling records and equipment to industry standards.
- You may also investigate supply issues and customer complaints.

Experience
Previous experience in driving and customer service is required due to frequent cold calling at residential and commercial properties and long periods spent driving and navigating.

Organised and able to work independently.
Good journey planning and driving knowledge.
Open to learning about the water industry and relevant processes.
Good computer literacy.
Qualifications
A clean manual driving licence is required.
