About the Role
You will be working on the front line as the face of Thames Water to our customers. Each year, over 500,000 tests are carried out on water samples collected from treatment works, reservoirs, and randomly selected customer properties to ensure the highest quality drinking water.
This role involves extensive travel between customers and sites, working as part of a busy team across a wide geographical area. You will be responsible for testing water samples and managing the maintenance of your sampling records and equipment to industry standards. You may also investigate supply issues and customer complaints.
As part of Team Thames, you will have the opportunity to support customers on the frontline as an ambassador, with full training provided. Experience
Previous experience in driving and customer service is required due to frequent cold calling at residential and commercial properties and long periods spent driving and navigating.
About you
Confident in cold calling customers at their homes or businesses.
Organised and able to work independently.
Good computer literacy.
Open to learning about the water industry and relevant processes.
Ability to plan journeys efficiently with good driving knowledge.
Qualifications
A clean manual driving licence is required.
