About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to be right at the heart of things, acting as the friendly face of Thames Water when meeting our customers. Each year, we run over 500,000 checks on water samples collected from treatment centres, reservoirs, and a mix of customer homes to ensure tap water is of the highest quality. As a Customer Water Quality Officer, you will be on the move frequently, travelling between different customers and sites as part of a lively team covering a large area. Your main responsibility will be testing water samples in domestic homes and businesses. You will oversee the management of your sampling records and the maintenance of sampling equipment, ensuring all are kept to industry standards. Occasionally, you may assist with investigating supply issues or customer complaints. You will use a company van for business purposes and have the opportunity to work independently, planning your routes and managing your day efficiently.
